Our Mission
No ads, no flashy graphics, no extraneous links or photos for publicity just a simple goal -
An online petition to convince the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to have cricket at the 2012 London Olympics, even if it's an "Exhibition" tournament.
How
The exciting Twenty20 Format is ideal for the Olympics, will motivate athletes everywhere and make cricket more popular worldwide whilst strengthening the traditional game.
Sign the petition and speak up, with millions of signatures and voices, can we be ignored?
Why 2012?
Britain is the birthplace of cricket and every Host country has had the opportunity to showcase a sport - Taekwondo in Korea, Softball in the US, Wushu in China. Right now everywhere, even in Britain cricket is losing resources to Olympic sports. We must act now.
Why are the Olympics important?
It's the world's biggest stage, countries get to show their best in front of the entire world. Olympic Glory is a boost to athletes and National Pride unlike any other.
Why would the International Olympic Committee listen to us ?
Because it has the opportunity to be less Eurocentric and more inclusive of more than 20% of the world's population in India and other South Asian countries whose sport is cricket. The Olympics could add more than 1 billion people to its audience. say let us in the Olympics here.
Why shouldn't cricket playing countries share the worldwide
glory of competing in the Olympics? Say let us in the Olympics |

The Issue
The Olympics have helped basketball, and soon other sports, surpass cricket. Now cricket is no longer the # 2 sport in the world. For over 100 years excuses have been made that exclude the great athletes who play cricket from Olympic Glory.
Solution
Cricket should be at the 2012 Olympics - there are haters and naysayers but why miss another opportunity to showcase our sport to the world ? Who is more celebrated worldwide - Michael Phelps or Tendulkar?
